Bentley Mulsanne Is Revealed

Bentley Mulsanne, probably, does not need any advertising, for this reason the first promotional clip doesn’t try to convince customers, but it presents the development of the latest Bentley model.

After several months of waiting, the British manufacturer, Bentley, took care to keep us in suspense with an interesting series of teasers, now is the moment for the official reveal of the new model Bentley Mulsanne. Although at first glance you would be tempted to think that this was simply an Arnage with a more powerful facelift, officials were careful to point out clearly that the new Mulsanne is not a substitute for the above mentioned model.

They even wanted to emphasize that not even one piece remained unchanged compared with those mounted on what was until now, the flagship of the Bentley. The new Mulsanne is inspired directly from the 8 liters models from the period before the entry of Rolls-Royce property, when Bentley models were considered the most luxurious in the world.

From there were the optical blocks configuration, which have brought a few modern changes, such as the LED circle beam that borders the central headlights. From the side you can admire the huge rear pillar throughout his megalomania, and, the rear lights to remind us of the Continental series.

Introduced last Thursday: 2011 Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible

Is it real? Yes. The Supersports Convertible made its global debut during the Geneva auto show in March. New York represents this luxury car’s first appearance in the United States.

What they said: This is Bentley’s “fastest, most potent convertible ever,” according to a company news release.

What they didn’t say: The niche market for ecologically themed supercars is gaining momentum, based on recent auto shows. Ferrari and Porsche unveiled exotic, high-performance hybrids at the Geneva Motor Show, but not Bentley. It may be time.

Supersports Convertible

The newest addition to the Continental model range features a very healthy 621-horsepower, from a twin-turbocharged W12 engine that is capable of running on both gasoline and E85 bioethanol, making it both powerful and environmentally conscious. Not to mention helping with the overall snootiness factor, and your own sense of self worth.

Price? Starting from a mere $280,400, the new four-seat Supersports Convertible arrives at Bentley retailers this summer. Its interior “signifies a dramatic re-interpretation of Bentley luxury. Satin-finished carbon fiber, Alcantara and ‘Soft Grip’ leather create a unique ambiance with a distinctly sporting and contemporary style.”

Yeah, six liters in a W12, 621 horses and 800 Nm. Need we say more? Four full sized adults can sit inside this Bentley and start screaming as the turbine, er, engine propels them towards the horizon with the thrust of a jumbo jet.

If you want the world to see how insanely classy, or should it be classily insane you are, pull out that cheque book and scribble your signature below two, eight and four zeros, in dollars of course. Before we forget, that’s for the car minus the bells and whistles.
